My mother in law took a 20 year old lawnmower in to get repaired. $98 later we got it back. Didn't work right...who would expect it to. It was 20 years old and parts weren't available. Never told her it wasn't worth repairing. Owner Shawn Byrne said he'd give me a credit towards a new mower, recommended Toro.
So a cousin gave us a used Toro which another cousin promptly clogged the carb on (f@#$ing ethanol, but that's a different rant). So took it in and asked Shawn Byrne to take care of me...he assured me in his friendly down home vt way he would. 9 days later, grass getting tall, after several phone calls it was finally done. Picked it up on Saturday, Shawn's dad was minding the store, no credit, no nothing. Dad assured me he'd have Shawn call, but no call back and it runs but not that great.
